Doesn’t this look like a success story? Well, my career hasn’t started yet but I’d like to say the few hours I spent on my computer learning HTML, CSS, and Basic during high school are probably what helped me the most to choose the career of my choice upon arriving at UCR. If I didn’t spend that time during high school, Talk Binary would have probably never existed! Now that would’ve been a big shame wouldn’t it?
Never checked out xkcd out? It’s a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language. I extremely recommend it!
Same for me, except it spans really far back even…into elementary school. Just learning this and that slowly. My most productive year in K-12 would probably the senior year when they finally decided to offer a programming course.
