Google Wave Invitations

November 13th, 2009 | 15 Comments | Posted in Blog, Miscellaneous by Diego

gwaveI recently got invited to the invite-only Google Wave and fortunately for you, I also got invitations to give out to you. But…wait a minute? What is Google Wave?

What is Google Wave?

According to their About Google Wave, Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. It can be used to discuss and collaborate texts, photos, videos, maps, and so much more.

So how do I get one? Post a comment on why you should have an invitation in the comments and make sure you post your e-mail address correctly. Then, in a day or so, I’ll announce who gets an invitation. Simple as that.

Good luck!

Update: I have 7 invitations. 24 hours from when the post is updated, I’ll randomly choose winners. I’ll post them here.

As the inventor of the lobster, common-garden pebble and scientology, I feel that Google Wave is inevitably doomed without the quality contributions that I can surely provide.

I will also name my fifth child’s first shoes in your honour!

I saw your (or somebody’s) post on reddit and this is my first time to talkbinary.com – a wave invite could be an awesome way to make a first impression and keep my coming back (aside from the content of course). :)

If I were to receive an invite it would be karma finally paying me back. Help karma by helping me. Thanks

I want to see how effective it can be at collaboration for students working together on the same project, laboratories, etc. Thanks for the potential invite!

  9. Sammy Sedky Says:

Real time communication and collaboration via Google Wave can be used for my grad school work in collaborating with other students to study for exams as well as using it to discuss lab related work. For recreational/leisure activities my online guild for the MMO game Star Trek Online already uses Google documents and Gmail, so this will be another convenient Google tool that we can use to help us.
