New quarter is about to being! Exciting isn’t it? Well not really. I’m in a point in my life where I just don’t know where I’m going. I’ve recently decided to pursue my Masters in Computer Science, but after that, its still in the air. Ph.D. maybe? Who knows. Only time will tell. For now all I can do is get prepared for classes!
New Mac user
Exactly. I’m a new Mac User as I bought the new Aluminum Macbook. So, aside from providing tutorials for Windows based applications, I’ll also do the same for Mac based applications. I got it mostly for programming for iPhone and iPod Touch as it seems a promising market as it allows independent developers access to the tools necessary to make an application. It’s all done with the iPhone SDK and is available to anyone who registers for free.
Development and future plans of Talk Binary
Talk Binary in itself has been doing great. The tutorials are search engine friendly and receive a hundred visits per day. Therefore I’ll continue to provide tutorials that I feel will benefit the users. I’ll also be working on providing templates so all my tutorials have a standard look and finding ways to progress through the tutorials as well through the use of a navigation menu. If you have any suggestions feel free to provide them below. :)
I also have been working on numerous projects. I’ve learned ML, Prolog, Java, PHP, SQL, Postgres, amongst other languages so I’ll be posting tutorials on that as well. If you have any preferences, please post them below!
As for the game development tutorials, I’ve been waiting on the release of a graphics package so I can show how to create something simple as Pong but step by step. I haven’t done it yet because I don’t have the engine.
Also, expect changes to the template. Nothing too fancy, but you should notice slight changes to provide you with a better user experience.
Aside from all of that, I’ll be keeping up with my postings of my experiences as a college student so expect me to follow through with the previous posts. I apologize for not following through! I’ll do better. I had a rough quarter but its over with! This one shouldn’t be as bad as before.
