Have you been patiently waiting for Starcraft 2 Beta Phase 2? It was announced in the previous update that it would arrive weeks prior to final release. Guess what, the patch is now live for U.S. region. So what are you waiting for? Go download it and get prepared. It is currently under “Maintenance” so it should be a matter of days (or even hours?) before you can start roach rushing again.

Patch 16 adds new achievements, unlocks all game modes, cooperative vs AI, Zerg balance fixes, six AI difficulties, among other core functionalities added. So what are you waiting? If you have a Beta key, go download the latest patch and if you haven’t reserve Starcraft 2. We’ve been waiting 10 years and the day is coming. In 20 days.

PlayOn!

Simply sign up for the beta, it is open to everyone. I received an invitation within two days. I then installed the software, ran it on my pc, and seconds after I had PlayOn! capabilities on my XMB within my PS3.

Videos take about 10 seconds to load but after that, I had video up and running. Quality is same found on the websites so don’t expect HD quality. You get what you paid for! I mean, you did pay a lot for it…(it’s free).

With Netflix support coming soon, this application looks very promising. So what are you waiting for?

My main incentive for making this game was to demonstrate the use of OpenGL and SDL on Windows. For that reason both the Compiled game and Source code will be available for download. With it you can easily edit images, and make your own changes to it. While doing so we encourage you to ask question in our forums as well as post your modifications. I hope everyone enjoys this! Instructions on how to play the game:

Click a selection block to select a character to go onto the floater.
Hit Spacebar to toggle between Selection mode and Go! mode.
When in Go! mode use Left click to move floater Right and Right click to move floater Left.

Use your PS2 controllers or Dancepads on your pc

It’s simple. Simply buy the Dual Shooter which runs for about $20 on Ebay or over at Play Asia. Once you receive it, rip the packaging apart, place the mini-cd that comes with it and install the drivers. After that, plug in your Dual Shooter adapter via USB, make sure the switch is on PC, then connect either the controllers or dancepads and your PC will recognize them as game pads.

After doing so, you’ll be receiving great response with no lag. You won’t be dissapointed!

Where to buy?

Simply buy the Dual Shooter and the Dance Pads on Ebay. I thought it was the easiest and cheapest solution. Or you can check out Dual Shooter at Play-Asia or check out the StepMania website to find the pads and dual shooter. Found a cheaper option? Post below.

What to do with the Dual Shooter?

Use them to play some old school emulation, Stepmania, or anything else you could think of. Tell us what you use them for.

Having problems?

Simply install the drivers again, plug in the dual shooter and restart your computer. That should fix the problem.

Jeff Gerstmann was dismissed from Game Stop after his immediate publication of the game Kane and Lynch. Apparently his “fair” review didn’t please the publishers which put pressure on Game Stop to do something about it. Well, sure enough Jeff got fired. Several lead reviews followed suit thereafter.

Soon after his termination, rumors of a game review site were immediately set afloat. Then Giant Bomb appeared!

So is this it? We’ve been waiting over a decade and we simply get logos, a picture of Duke, some people wearing masks and that’s it? Wow! That all can be done in PowerPoint! =X Total stab in the heart by Apogee and 3D Realms! Maybe ten years ago this would be accepted but not now!

Even so, I can’t wait to play this game as the previous iteration of the game were classic! If you haven’t played them, shame on you! Go do so now!

GameStop online has currently introduced their PS3 Bundled with Metal Gear Solid! You can’t order online though, so I believe you must reserve them in store. The price tag? $559.98. Which includes the 80GB PS3, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Bluetooth Headset, and more. You can check it out at GameStop.


I was hoping to see it around the estimated $500 Engadget had previously claimed. Even so, the $559.98 doesn’t seem to bad, with the fact that it included the game, and a headset so we could pretend to be Solid Snake during the actual game.
