Programmer’s Notepad Features

Programmer’s Notepad allows you to create multiple file types and provides syntax highlighting for a great variety of languages such as C++, PHP, HTML, and so much more. You can also create and manage projects. You can open multiple files in Programmer’s Notepad and they’ll appear as tabs. You can create coding templates, create themes, tags, scripts, and so much more.

This is a great alternative to Windows Notepad as it comes bundled with a lot of neat features any programmer would enjoy. I personally use this for light programming projects such as HTML, CSS, and PHP and believe it’s great. It’s doesn’t take a lot of resources so its fast. It’s also free, did I mention that?

Johnny is a Ph.D. student who focuses on Human-Computer Interaction. Be sure to check out his webpage here.


To make things short, Johnny has made several projects anyone can make in their own home with the appropriate resources and it isn’t costly. His most known projects have been the things he has done with Wii Remotes. I’ll put the videos since he explains what he is doing with them.





Interesting huh? You can find more of his projects over at his project’s page. Be sure to check out what other neat things you can do with a couple of Wii remotes. You can also download the software he uses to make this happen here at Wiimoteproject.

Johnny Lee also has made other project such as the SteadyCam which provides a cheap alternative for buying an expensive device for holding your camera up. This can be viewed here.
