I want to take a moment to say “Happy Independence Day!” and with that, let me introduce the weekly reading list of Talk Binary. This is something I plan to keep doing since I tend to read hundreds of technology/gaming related articles every week thanks to Google Reader.

Google Media Server for your PS3

Following our previous things to do with your PS3 using your PC, we introduce Google Media Server found on Google Desktop.

Google Media Server allows you to view the photos, videos, and music files found on your computer through Google Desktop. It also allows you to view your Picasa Web Albums as well as to view videos found on YouTube.

How to get Google Media Server running for your PS3

Simply download and install Google Desktop
Open Google Desktop
Download and install the Google Media Server.
Right click on the Google Media Server, to view its properties and configure it to your liking
Your media should be found under Pictures, Video, and Music on your PS3

Of course, you need to have Google Media Server open and running whenever you want to stream your media to your PS3.
