So whenever you want fast access to a messenger online, imo provides a good solution. Simply log in once with all your accounts, and you’ll be asked to link your accounts so later you only have to sign into one of your services to use them all.

This will create a separate window where you’ll have each conversation in its own tab.
I use imo all the time when I simply want quick access to someone if they are online. So far its been reliable. I use it over Meebo because I like how straight to the point this IM really is.
